It is located on the border of the municipalities of Jataí, Rio Verde, Caiapônia and Aparecida do Rio Doce. The vital importance of water and its correlation with other natural components, its economic importance and social relationships makes relevant its analysis from the multiple subjects’ representations. The present work derives from the master's-level research which is being conducted at the Institute for Social- Environmental Studies - IESA / UFG (Federal University of Goiás). One problem directed the reflections: what are the political meaning that Rio Doce’s hidrografic basin subjects give to the water? To accomplishment the study, it has been used qualitative data from semi-structured interviews, questionnaires and field diary. It was found that there are different aims in the range of actions performed by the actors (subjects), when using the water.porAcesso AbertoBacia hidrográficaWatershedUsos da águaAbordagem territorialIntencionalidadesWater usesIntentionalityMultiple subjectsTerritorial approachMúltiplos sujeitosBacia do rio Doce sob representações de múltiplos: uma abordagem geográficaDoce river basin through the representation of multiple subjects: a geographical approachArtigo
