They are sources of information, because they generate and disseminate information, and they can assist the learning process, simplifying complex matters in several knowledge areas. The comic books potential is related to their verbal and iconic elements and their language. They generate knowledge, stimulate reading and logic and develop skills to decode texts and images. The Comic books are a very efficient instrument to be used in the educational process, for different age groups, as an informational, literary and educational resource, making a valuable research tool while turning into a material for fun.
