Based on parallels between the narrative presented by the series and the Brazilian socio-historical and educational reality, regarding the teaching and learning of visual arts, this work aimed to verify issues such as creativity and creation, subjectivity and acquisition of knowledge in visual arts, in addition to training and teaching practice. To this end, elements of the history of arts teaching in Brazil were observed, covering the BNCC in terms of the curricular component of Art, in addition to focusing on issues of curriculum and teaching.
