Cultural landscapes are interpreted in the context of their complexity involving subjectivity and objectivity. The landscape emerges into a natural environmental and cultural resource, whose value then becomes relative. The cultural goods obtain a value that the society, through social practices, can be use to enhance the market. Tourism reinvents cultural heritgae which is analyzed from the perspective of UNESCO, IPHAN and the Brasilian Constitution. It concludes many meanings of the symbolic landscape that primarily talk about the men that created them.
