The objective of this article is to present this segment to give an alternative income to the population of the Municipality of São Domingos, Goiás State, Brazil, and to establish inventory as a main tool for the development of this segment. besides being a form of conservation of the landscape. The present article has been substantiated in bibliographical researches about the region, as well as data of the formal institutions for the production of cartographic products, besides two visits in the field for the appropriate observations and photographic records.
