To this end, it was a review of literature on the topics of Information Sources, Information Sources on the Internet, the Internet Information Quality and Quality Criteria for Evaluation of Information Sources on the Internet, which allowed us to observe that there are few studies within this perspective and most of the criteria selected by the authors derive primarily from the five criteria used for sources of printed information: accuracy, authority, objectivity, and coverage update. It was decided by criteria Tomaél et al. (2004) to perform such evaluation. The research was established as a case study and is classified as applied, descriptive and exploratory, with a quantitative approach.
