The experiment was conducted in the experimental facilities of the Abatedouro São Salvador (Itaberaí-GO), using 1,920 male and female Hubbard broilers. These birds were distributed in a completely randomized design with 4 treatments: T1 – 0.35% of salt (NaCl) in the ration; T2 – 0.45% of NaCl in the ration; T3 – 0.55% of NaCl in the ration; T4 – 0.45% of NaCl + 0.15% of Sodium Bicarbonate (NaHCO3) Were used 6 replicates with 80 birds .
