Understanding the need for such discussion in the field of Science, this article sets out to investigate the assessment conceptions of Physics teachers in different educational institutes in Inhumas, Goiás. To do so, a qualitative analysis was undertaken based on responses to questionnaires administered to Physics teachers in both public and private high schools, and a public institute of higher education.
