The search for alternative sources of water supply, such as the use of rainwater, has been requested by the general population. However, this technique has been employed in urban buildings without proper scientific rigor, necessary to achieve water with the quality suitable for its use. Thus, this research aims to evaluate a treatment system of rainwater in a building with asbestos cement roof. The experimental system for the treatment of rainwater consists of two modules for membrane filtration of 25 microns followed by an UV disinfection unit and the other followed by a chlorine disinfection unit.
