The study qualifies as a case study, which uses the artifices of qualitative research to evaluate its results, aiming to reaffirm through the literature review and the report of the practical work, the importance of the work of preservation and restoration of collection, and thus show the results that the workshop at BSCAN offers the library and the academic community within its possibilities and estimate what could be delivered if the workshop had modern and specific devices for this type of service.
