It presents a brief history about the history of Scouting in the world and brazilian scene, as well as its principles and its scout method. It addresses the definitions of formal, informal and non-formal education, characterizing them according to authors of the area, aiming to show that the activity of experimentation can be used in a space of non-formal education.
