From electronic and manual screening, 3,086 search results were analyzed on national and regional platforms in the available time period, without a particular time frame. The databasesclassified by coverage area allowed the files to be crossed, verifying that all information was included between the repositories.Examination of research in regional databases aimed to assess the development of research on the topic in Goiás, especially at the Federal University of Goiás where the Araguaia River basin has been considered as one of the priority research areas.
