It takes place in a private school in Goiânia. The undergraduate thesis embraces the conception of decoloniality and (Afro) Brazilian culture, to analyze the constitution of the Festival. It is intended to build the defense of the construction of education in a decolonial perspective. The decolonial struggle is sought as an enabler for the construction of a society constituted by citizens aware of the consequences of colonialism, endowed with the ability to work together in favor of an egalitarian and just society. Hence, qualitative research is used to understand and interpret the content.
