The full dose of liming was determined in order to increase the base saturation up to 50%. The treatments were: control (no liming), half dose (0.675 t.ha-1), full dose (1.35 t.ha-1), double dose (2.7 t.ha-1), and triple dose (4.05 t.ha-1). The experimental design was completely randomized with five treatments and six replications. Each pot was planted with the cultivar FT-Cristalina and inoculated with 4,000 eggs. The number of H. glycines females on soybean roots, and cysts/100 cm3 were evaluated. The number of females was reduced as liming doses increased up to 3.03 t.ha-1, showing quadratic response.
