Constitutional transferences such as FPM, FUNDEB, and ICMS represent the largest share of resources sent to municipal governments. Each of these transferences has a direct relation with the demographic and economic dynamics of municipalities. To discuss the relations between federal and state transferences to municipalities in Goiás, we focused on the microregional scale.
