There is still a small number of studies that have investigated the correlation between sport and mental health in children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder. Therefore, the objective behind the development of this review is to investigate the positive role that physical activity can play in people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
