It also aimed to identify their informational skills related to the needs and use of information. The methodology used for data collection included quantitative and qualitative approaches and the following methods were used for data analysis: analysis of the content of the answers obtained by the application of the questionnaires and the analysis of the structure of the course through the pedagogical political project, as well as the Lattes curriculum, to identify information competencies. The questionnaire was structured based on the dimensions, ethics, aesthetics, technique and politics of competence according to the work of Vitorino and Piantola. The results indicate that teachers seek more information related to the discipline they teach and information for training.
