During development, the research was restricted to the city of Goiânia with a collaborating professor. In terms of methodology, a documentary and bibliographic consultation was carried out, which allowed us to know the proposals of the “new BNCC” for the Art component and we also used a semistructured questionnaire in order to collect the perceptions presented by the interviewee. As a result, we realized that the BNCC document is considered normative and, at the same time, subject to appropriations and “applicability” in the pedagogical practice of teaching visual arts.
