This pro ject, open to primary and high school personnel in public schools, consisted of organizing and holding debates - in the form of short courses and workshops - on the teaching of the Portuguese language. By reflecting on the concepts that guide the tea cher of Portuguese in the classroom it hoped to bring about changes in literacy practices.
