For that, we take into account the notions of homoeroticism and gay literature circumscribed by José Carlos Barcellos (2006). In the work we present, three poems were analyzed and described in more detail: “A um moçoilo” by Junqueira Freire, “Rapto” by Carlos Drummond de Andrade, and “Julieu e Romito” by Horácio Costa, written respectively in the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
