It is extremely important to monitor the internal and external environment of organizations to obtain this competitive advantage. In this case, the present study aimed to investigate if the Eficient software, which has as main objective the management of organizational processes, designed and produced by a Technology Enterprise in Goiânia-GO-Brazil, can be considered as a competitive intelligence instrument. It is understood that the information provided by this software are important and can offer managers, when necessary, foundation for decision making. The study can be classified as qualitative.
