Firstly, it presents a discussion on education for the deaf based on linguistic issues which involve the teaching of the Portuguese and sign languages. It describes the strategy for creating the module based on social interaction, using participant observations made in a 3rd year high school class at the Goiânia Association for the Deaf. The module design is based on different ways to represent scientific knowledge.
