Rumos da História, Vitória, v. 2, n. 3, p. 47-66, ago./dez. 2016.2359-4071http://repositorio.bc.ufg.br/handle/ri/19540This paper proposes to discuss public art through the ephemerality which characterizes it, taking the following three urban interventions with the use of photography: Tom Lisboa’s Polaroides (in)visíveis (2005-2010), Raquel Brust’s Giganto (2008-2014) and Patricia Gouvêa’s Imagens Posteriores (2013-2013). The tabled discussion begins with a characterization of the ephemerality in that three works and explores how they are related to the concepts of “Contemporaneous Public Art”, elaborated by Christian Ruby; of “Public Art”, by Rosalind Deutsche and “Marginal Public Art”; by Pedro de Andrade. Then, the article links their works with what the artists said about it and with newspaper clippings of the exhibitions period. This will make emerge reflections on art in street context and its political and social character.porAcesso AbertoArte públicaEfemeridadeFotografiaPublic artEphemeralityPhotographyA arte pública efêmera na cidade: entre o artístico, o político e o socialArtigo
