Thus, a case study was carried out, with a qualitative approach, in which data were obtained through a structured interview developed with a teacher from the municipal education network of Goiânia-GO, who works in the multifunctional resource room of the Specialized Educational Service. . The data obtained were analyzed in light of the theoretical assumptions of the historical-cultural perspective of Vigotski (2000; 2010; 2022) and collaborators in the area. As results obtained, it is highlighted how the pandemic context influenced the trajectory of students who received care during the isolation period and the resumption of face-to-face teaching with the necessary safety adaptations. In this context, it was revealed how the specialized educational service professional mediated the pedagogical planning in this period and what pedagogical support and resources she received. The teacher presents the room in which she works and shares the scarcity of resources and materials available for care. In this way, official documents that systematize the organization of the multifunctional resource room were analyzed, comparing with the reality offered in a room of the Municipal Education Network of Goiânia.
