In this way, the parties are subject to ethical rules that are assigned to fertility institutions. The Federal Council of Medicine, through resolution Nº 2.168/2017, requires the anonymity of the genetic material donor for insemination, wich claims that this imposition protects the parties from future interferences in family relationships and also preserves the donor’s intimacy.
