In the referred work, the author tries to aim both at his spectator’s senses and at his intelligence, joining entertainment and the denunciation of social injustice of his time. Based on these notions, the ingredients of the play as a piece of entertainment and the maladjustments which it reflects, being written under the Salazar regime, will be examined simultaneously. The theoretical reference adopted consists basically of Bertolt Brecht’s conceptions, which consider the theatre a fairground, combined with a critical attitude towards reality.porAcesso AbertoDivertimentoResistênciaAlves RedolEntertainmentResistanceO destino morreu de repente: divertimento e resistência em Alves RedolArtigo10.5216/ac.v1i1.31060
