In this way, in the quest for acoustic quality, the objective of this work is to study the digital waveguide method for the one-dimensional and two-dimensional wave solution. The first approach of the work focuses on the understanding of the simulation method and the boundary conditions. With the initial rationale established for the one dimensional parameters, it focuses on the two-dimensional case with modeling tests using the Taylor series and checks for dispersion errors at the border of an environment. In the implementation process, the perception of the influence of the acoustic impedance was also a very important variable for the work, since the energy or pressure of a node or joint is influenced by the neighborhood. Comparing the numerical method of study with analytical method it is realized that the relation of frequency of simulation on the frequency of excitation of the source must be at least 10 so that it presents reliable results.
