They were fully developed in his doctoral dissertation submitted to Universidade de São Paulo in 1993 and are referred to the reconstruction of the programa forte in the sociology of science. The point argued here is that socioeconomic developement variants constitute the explanatory models formulated by researchers about Goiás.
