The present study was realized with dentists of Goiânia, through questionnaires that asked for the frequency of resin uses, the infection control methods adopted, the absolute isolation uses, the resin composite form of presentation, the utilization of decontamination techniques of spatula during a restorative procedure and which are those techniques. It was verified that more than a half of the interrogated professionals don’t use methods of spatulas decontamination during restorative procedures. Moreover, the resin presentation form more used was in tube in almost 100% of the answers; 24% of dentists questioned hardly ever or never use the absolute isolation; and 49% of professionals that realizes the decontamination make only two frictions with alcohol 70%.
