The material consisted of cultures of larvae of Necator amerícanus (Stiles, 1902) Ín filter paper. The filariform stage on filter paper occurred on the fifth day; positive hygrotropism was shown by filariform larvae on the seventh day. Photomicrographs of morphologic and structural characteristics of the encapsulated filariform larvae were taken.porAcesso AbertoArtigo
