First, the text explores the classic contractualism, especially Hob-bes, Kant and Locke. Then, it explores the juridical positivism, which notoriously promoted a conceptual emptiness in Kelsen. And finally, the sources of those who seek to rehabilitate Kantian practical reason, like Rawls and Habermas.
