Retinoids are among the several drug classes whose encapsulation into liposomes might result in potential positive results. In this work, isotretinoin encapsulation into liposomes was studies. Liposomes were prepared by the chloroform injection method, with further characterization by dynamic light scattering. Encapsulation efficiency was determined by UV spectrophotometry. It was observed that when liposomes were made with 40mM of phosphatidylcholine and 10 mM of cholesterol, the encapsulation efficiency was reduced when compared to PC liposomes, since both molecules are included in the lipid bilayer.porAcesso AbertoLipossomasIsotretinoínaEncapsulaçãoLiposomesIsotretinoinEncapsulationEstudo da encapsulação da isotretinoína em lipossomasStudy of isotretinoin encapsulation into liposomesArtigo10.5216/ref.v4i1.2124
