According to the World Health Organization, rotavirus is the second leading cause of mortality in children under 5 years of age. Worldwide, about 125 thousand people die annually from infections by this virus, whose vaccines are available worldwide. Thus, this study aimed to get to know people's perceptions about aspects related to anti-RVA vaccination, as a basis for the development of a channel on a digital platform to promote the population's awareness of the theme importance. For data collection, a questionnaire prepared using Google Forms and sent via email, WhatsApp and / or Instagram pre-owned as a research instrument. The results indicate that most of the participants who answered the questionnaire are female (76%). The survey on the education of the participants showed that 72% have higher education (complete or incomplete), 23% have hight school and 5% and elementary school. The results showed that 66% of the participants knew theme “acute diarrheal disease”, 79% knew the rotavirus and 54% knew the symptoms of the disease. Approximately 55% of participants have already received fake news, and of these, 22% have not vaccinated their children. That is possible to concluded that it is extremely important to highlight the importance of vaccination, as well as the fight against fake news in this theme in an attempt to increase the adherence of those responsible for childhood vaccination.
