It´s writen about the meaning of care and its use in Nursing including for those who are cared and for those who takes care. It suggests that interventions must be made in the nursing graduation process. These interventions have the purpose to develop the perception that the attention dedicated to the other must be equal to the one dedicated to yourself.Este artículo hace un análisis de reflexión, desde el punto de vista del estudiante universitario de Enfermería, con relación de la necesidad del cuidado direccionado al cuidador, para que éste pueda asistir al cliente de forma humanizada. Se refiere sobre el significado del cuidar y su aplicabilidad en Enfermería, tanto para quien es cuidado cuanto para quien cuida.
