Baronesa resulted the best one in total yield and production of large tubers (over 60 grams) followed next by Piratini. However, there are doubts wether their pink skinned tubers would be accepted by the consumar of this region, accustomed to yellow potatoes. Among the german varieties, Porta and Fatima ranked best and even they yieldéd less than Baronesa and Piratini, there was no significant difference between the two groups.porAcesso AbertoArtigo
