However, its dimension reaches the society as a whole, shifting the problem to the field of politics, basically coinciding, in temporal terms, with the emergence of neoliberal ideology. This historical fact justifies its examination having as a basic input the Frankfurt School’s critical theory, especially that of Herbert Marcuse.
