The general objective of the study is to give rise to reflection and discussion about the appropriations that school physical education teachers have made of the theme games, toys and games. Methodologically, it is a bibliographic research that chose to approach the research problem from the perspective of researchers whose studies synthesize and deepen the knowledge about children's playful practices and their uses in Early Childhood Education, in particular, the elaborations of Kishimoto and Wajskop as well as authors from the field of physical education such as Eliana Ayub, Airton Negrine and Soares et all.
