For this purpose, the historical process of constitution of both the ideology category and psychology as a modern science is resorted to. Thus, in this work, Marxist conceptions are used, specifically using the category of ideological decadence formulated by Lukács (which starts from a Marxian reading). After these discussions, we analyzed 22 texts selected from the years 1979-2019 that specifically deal with the relationship between psychology and ideology.
