We establish a correlation between the Derrida’s ideas of differance and, also, supporting us in the interpretation of the body developed by Butler and Grosz, we intend to raise a series of questionings in the controversial field of the body that speaks. We want to debate the possibilities of force in an illocucionary act and of occurrence of a perlocucionary effect in an inert body. We argue the idea of a linguistic convention or a intention inside of the rite conventions of the act of speaking, therefore if a body communicates from its materiality.porAcesso AbertoPerformativoRitoAçãoCorpoMortePerformativeRiteBodyDeathDe corpo presente: a performatividade da presença-ausênciaBody’s presence: presence-absence performativityArtigo10.5216/sig.v20i2.6081
