Resumo

Study the use of marketing and of cultural marketing in libraries of school public and private in município from Goiânia for promotion of products and services of these information units. The intention is analyze the degree of usability of the marketing and of cultural marketing in these units of information. Given the poor visibility of school libraries and little literature on this subject study was conducted with the exploratory quantitative approach, using questionnaires closed for data collection. The questionnaires were administered in 10 public schools and 13 private schools of Goiânia. The aim was to analyze if the professionals know the benefits of marketing and cultural marketing. In conclusion, professionals have an intermediate degree of knowledge as well as the application of promotion tools.
