Resumo
This work is characterized as an action planning librarian, from the formulation of the preliminary proposal for the implantation of the park library in the northwest region of Goiania-GO. To this end, we sought to construct a map on the newest paradigm in libraries, called "Library Park", through articles and websites of own libraries park. The project of libraries park has the main feature be installed near risk areas. it is worth pointing that such libraries are becoming a global reference to be vectors for transformation and social inclusion. The methodology adopted was the survey of the history of the Northwest region, seeking to know the profile of their residents, as age, education level, strengths and weaknesses of the region. This information was obtained from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE); the Directorate of Urban Information for Geoprocessamentos (adFNDI), in which the current map of the northwestern region of Goiania was requested. We also had information through map confectioned by mapping division of Urban Basic Digital Map of Goiania (MUBDG); Division of Library and Documentation (DVDOC) of the Municipality of Goiania and specific articles about northwest region of Goiania. This research related information obtained from the concern of social and cultural factors on the northwest region of Goiania and highlights the benefits that a library of this presence could entail on the communities around them. As researches point out, this region lacks of cultural activities, in other words, it covers a huge physical and social distance to cultural access. So, the study shows the benefits that this library park can bring to the region, as a space for community living, with movie theater, free internet access, coffee shop, digital collection of music, story time, programming for all ages, besides access to reading. Therefore, promoting cultural development, walking towards building of a city educator, concerned with the formation and development of its people.
