Resumo
The development of eggs of ancylostomidae into infectivc
larvae was studied ín the laboratory at room temperature.
The material consisted of cultures of larvae of Necator amerícanus
(Stiles, 1902) Ín filter paper. The filariform stage on filter
paper occurred on the fifth day; positive hygrotropism was shown
by filariform larvae on the seventh day. Photomicrographs of morphologic
and structural characteristics of the encapsulated filariform
larvae were taken.
