Resumo
The kinetics of antibody formation
were studied by means of
a complement fixation microtechnique
in plates in 110 persons
who had been vaccinated against
rabies with different types of vaccine.
Rabies vaccine prepared according to Fuenzaíida and Palácios
was used as antigen. Titers
of antibodies, considered protective,
were detectable about 15
days after administration of the
first dose of vaccine.
The schedule of 14 doses was
found to confer complete immunity
withín this period. This was
based on determination of the titers
of complement-fixing antibodies.
