Resumo
The present experiment was carried out with 16 and 18 month old cattle. The objective was to evaluate the liver performance in animals experimentally submitted to
CC14 toxicity through variation in the bilirrubin serum leĀvels.
It was conclued that,in the conditions the ex periment was conducted,bilirrubin serurn levels do not serve as an adequate hepatic lesion index and that further rese- arch should be made to clearify the subject.
