Resumo

Effects of Dates if Planting on Agronomic Ch􀀂 racteristics of Soybeans in the Cerrado of Goiânia. Severa! dates of planting were studied in four growing seasons (from 1973 to 1976) in dark-red latosol soil, clay texture. Stand was normal under rain conditions at the time of planting. All varieties were late flowering when planted at the end to october except "UFV-1" which decreased flo wering linearly from the planting of the end of october thQ rough the end of december. Each 14 day interval after each planting sho wed an earlines of s, 1 and 6. 5 days in the maturation of the "UFV-1" and "Júpiter" varieties. Plantings of the first two weeks of december showed higher plants and higher insertion of the first pod. ''UFV-1" and "Júpiter" had the best yields in the planti􀄄gs of november and in those of the first' fortnight of decem.ber. The variety "Santa Rosa" showed the best seed yields in the plantings of the end of october through the beginning of november. Seven dates of planting had better curve fi! tings than five dates of planting.
