Resumo

This experiment evaluated the nutritional composition of rice straw submitted to the different urea doses and water, by using a completely randomized experimental design in factorial combination of 20, 30 and 40% of water and 2, 4 and 6% of urea fertilizer on basis of the dry matter. Significant interaction was verified (P <0.05) among water and urea added for medium crude protein content. By the addition of 4 and 6% of urea and 20, 30% of moisture reduced (P <0.05) in the NDF (neutral fibber in detergent) content. It was observed that 4 and 6% of urea and 40% of water reduced the of ADF (acid fibber detergent) contents. Highest hemicelulose reductions were observed with the interaction (P <0.05) of 2 and 4% of urea with 20 and 30% of water. The addition of 4% of urea and 30% of water increased the CP (crude protein) content, and provided highest reductions on the ADF, NDF and hemicelulose contents of the rice straw.
