Resumo
This experiment was conducted at Santo Inácio de
Loyola farm, Brotas, São Paulo State, during 42 days, in
order to evaluate the effects of different levels of spray dried
yeast on young piglets performance. The experimental design
was a completely randomized with four treatments – 0%,
3%, 6% and 9% – of dried yeast in rations with five
replications. The experimental pen consisted of 14 piglets
weaned at 26 days of age. The results indicated that spray
dried yeast can be added until 9% for young piglets diets
with therefore, the inclusion of this ingredient will depend
only of the cost.
