Resumo
This study aimed to analyze, from the methodological approaches, the
epistemological implications of theses and dissertations produced in
PPGE/UFSCar, considering their interrelations with the socio-politico-
economic. In general we obtained the following results, 88.9% of documents
reviewed have adopted the empirical-analytic approach, 11.1% to
phenomenological-hermeneutic and 0% to critical-dialectic. Considering the
links between logic and history, we find that the predominance of empirical-
analytic approach is related with the socio-politico-economic in Brazil,
especially to model the Graduate deployed in the country, as well as with the
characteristics internal program studied.
