In late century XV,
Fernando de Aragão (1474-1516) and
Isabel
de
Castela
(1474-1504)
undertook a justice centralization
program and kingdoms pacification
aiming the royal power strength.
Among other deliberation, in 1476,
the monarchs resettled to Hermandad
General that, besides a police organ,
was used as political instrument.
This institution, of earlier tradition,
attended to the kingdom initial aims,
of kings ostensible d rights defense,
of order restauration and pacification
and became known as justice armed
arm in Castille.
