Resumo
The water is a finite and indispensable resource for the whole alive organism it is fundamental to assure your use and maintenance. Given the this importance, studies were developed about the quality of the water in river Paraguai in the influence area of the city of Ladário-MS . For the monitoring the analytic parameters were used: temperature, conductivity, pH, total suspended solids, total dissolved solids, turbidity, Dissolved Oxygen, Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and oils and greases, accomplished on January 10th to12th 2011. According to the Resolution Conama 357/2005 the data demonstrated that the water source is registered in the class 2, excepting the turbidity values, total suspended solids and oils and greases.
